Residential Protection Program
This program involves harnessing your dog’s natural ability to be protective. This 3 to 4 week program gives you the ability to control your dog’s protective instincts so that you are able to decide when the dogs needs to protect you and when he/she doesn’t.
We will teach the dog how to respond appropriately if you feel there is a threat to protect against. You are required to show us that you have control over your dog on the leash before we will accept the dog into the protection program. For this reason we recommend that at least the Basic Residential Program has been completed here at our kennel prior to doing the protection training. If your dog is already trained by you or another facility you will be required to demonstrate that you do have control over the dog on-leash.
